We look at our practice parties as dance parties-they are loads of fun!! Beginner practice parties allow students the opportunity to practice in a simulated "real life" dance enviroment. At our beginner practice parties, we teach the basic step of each dance and then dance that basic to several songs to emphasize repetition and help the beginning dancer's "muscle memory" develop more quickly. We also only focus on a small handful of the most immediately practical and useful dances to help our beginners get off to a fast start and avoid potential confusion. All of our instuctors monitor the dancing to provide assistance and resolve questions or problems which may arise while dancing. Whether the scene is a wedding, charity ball, night club or cruise, a good dancer must feel comfortable on a crowded dance floor. Practice parties are the perfect complement to our group and private lessons, and are the real glue that brings all of the dancing together.
